1. Purpose of This Policy
Pathway Builders Network (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening communities through grassroots collaboration and local leadership. We deeply value the trust and generosity of our supporters and strive to handle every donation with integrity, transparency, and accountability. This policy outlines how donations are processed and when refunds may be considered.
2. Use of Donations
All contributions support our programs and initiatives that advance our mission. Unless otherwise specified by the donor and accepted by us in writing, donations are used where the need is greatest within Pathway Builders Network. We maintain responsible financial stewardship and regularly review allocations to ensure funds are applied effectively toward community impact.
3. Donation Receipts and Acknowledgment
Upon successful processing of an online donation, a confirmation email and tax-deductible receipt are automatically sent to the email address provided by the donor. Donors giving $250 or more will receive a formal acknowledgment letter for tax purposes in accordance with IRS requirements.
4. Refund Policy
Because Pathway Builders Network relies on donations to carry out our mission, donations are generally non-refundable. However, we will review refund requests on a case-by-case basis in the following situations:
A duplicate donation was made in error.
An incorrect donation amount was entered due to technical issues.
A donation was made accidentally or without proper authorization.
A special event or program connected to a donation was cancelled by our organization.
How to Request a Refund:
Email support@prosperitypathwaynetwork.com within 7 business days of the transaction. Include your name, donation amount, transaction ID (if available), and reason for the request. Approved refunds will be issued using the original payment method within 10 business days.
5. Recurring Donations
Donors who set up recurring (generally monthly) contributions may cancel or update their payment information at any time by contacting us at support@prosperitypathwaynetwork.com. To avoid additional charges, please submit cancellation requests at least 5 business days before the next scheduled donation date.
6. Payment Security
All online donations are processed through secure, PCI-compliant third-party payment providers (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, or similar). Pathway Builders Network does not store complete credit card numbers or bank details on its servers.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Donation & Refund Policy from time to time to reflect operational or legal changes. Any updates will be posted on our website with a new effective date.
